SZA to perform at Super Bowl halftime show with Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is bringing a very special guest to the Super Bowl.
A new trailer for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show released Thursday revealed that SZA will join Lamar as a special guest for the performance on Feb. 9.
In the trailer, the “Not Like Us” rapper talks on the phone while standing on a football field and notes he’s been thinking about a guest performance. As he’s talking, SZA walks up behind him and dumps a bucket of Gatorade over Lamar in slow motion.
The announcement comes days after SZA’s film with Keke Palmer, “One of Them Days,” came in at No. 2 at the box office and received critical acclaim.
Lamar was announced as the Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner in September. He previously performed in a star-studded halftime show in 2022 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent.
